I am an abstract artist who loves abstract art, photography, German Shepherd dogs, okay all dogs, travel and Italy. My work can also be found on Instagram (patpurdyart), and facebook (Pat Purdy). I have been to Italy 2x , Provence, France, London UK,Africa and recently Australia. Seeing these remarkable countries with art friends and family have made it an unforgettable experience. I like to experiment with art and use mediums, inks, varnishes, assorted tools and techniques to create my work. I really enjoy silk, ink painting and encaustic work. I like to participate in local art shows, have had my art featured in magazines and donate a large amount of my work in support of local animal rescue organizations. . All works copyright...

Beautifully portrays strength along with the calm in the rolling ribbons of color. Another breathtaking painting. This series with trees should be in the National Gallery of Ottawa.
